Filmmaker extraordinaire(my own opinion) and writer debonair (yes i’m rambling now).

I have a full time career that pays the bills but doesn’t fulfill my creative needs hence why I started working on short projects on and off since 2003.

I have taught myself 2D/3D animation between lectures at university and have also tried my hand at stop motion animation before realising that action figures were too rigid and that I wanted to work with human actors.

I wrote/directed/acted in a feature in 2009 called ‘Reborn’ and due to my being over ambitious and daft, I took on too much, thinking I had the skills required and didn’t manage to complete that project.

After that kick in the nuts, I went back to the drawing board and started writing shorter scripts. I shot a speudo horror short in Spain in 2010 and a pseudo action short in Brighton in 2011.

I focused on honing my writing and editing skills during that period while also saving up for better sound equipment, software and camera equipment.

I am currently producing/directing a pilot for a TV show (that’s the goal) called Phat Fyterz.  Pre-production is nearly over and auditions are happening imminently.

Please email me on the provided address. Many Thanks, Maisy James
